For practical usage, Polyisocyanurate is foil coated with Celotex to have a maximum advantage for having an airtightness possibility in order to prevent heat radiation from entering into the home. It has the thermal conductivity equal to 0.025 W/mK.
Expanded Polystyrene, due to its toughness and combustibility in nature, is commonly used as external wall insulation method, but can also be used for internal wall insulation. With thermal conductivity equal to 0.03 W/mK, Expanded Polystyrene helps the wall to get protected with heat and dry weather, but for preventing for burning or to make it fire resistant, a special type of compound is used to cater that in order.
